The Cruit Éireann|Harp Ireland Harp Sessions at The Sugar Club, positioning Irish harping in new spaces and places, return on Thursday, September 24th at 8pm featuring an exceptional line-up of artists each renowned for their deep musicality and innovation: acclaimed Irish harper Tríona Marshall, celebrated Scottish singer Ályth McCormack, long-standing featured vocalist with The Chieftains, and multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Graham Henderson.
Tríona Marshall and Ályth McCormack previously joined forces on the album Red & Gold, which the late Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains described as creating “a beautiful blend of harp music and song.” Tríona, Ályth and Graham are now collaborating on a new album, Time to Leave the Darkness, produced by Henderson, who brings a wealth of experience in artistic collaboration, having worked with artists including Sinéad O’Connor and Dónal Lunny.
