Frank Harte Festival

In September 2026, Frank Harte Festival will celebrate its 21st anniversary commemorating the life and work of Frank Harte. We hope you can join us in the heart of Dublin for singing sessions, a song workshop, a singing & walking tour, an illustrated talk, and An Cheolchoirm Mhór (The Grand Concert).

An Góilín, as the leading promoter of traditional singing in Dublin, organised the first Frank Harte Festival in 2006, following the death of Frank Harte (1933-2005), a close associate and friend. Since its inception the festival has become a focus for traditional singing. The guest list over the last twenty years reads like a veritable ‘Who’s Who’ of traditional singing from these shores and beyond.
